Hello there! Please keep in mind, this is an Alpha demo of 'Slimy Saves the Day!' For now, only the first four levels are available. As a solo developer, I'm bouncing as fast as I can to bring you the full, chocolatey experience. Thanks for your support and patience. Enjoy your adventure!
"Welcome to 'Slimy Saves the Day!' A delectable disaster has struck Candyland as the chocolate factory explodes, covering workers and town folks in a delicious yet sticky dilemma. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to play as Slimy, a jello hero, leaping from tile to tile in a tantalizing 2.5D world, to peel off the chocolate and free the enchanting girls trapped underneath.
Every step of this action-packed, flirtatious journey is filled with candy-coated perils to dodge, such as candy spikes and sharp, flying bonbons. But fear not! Your sticky situation is sweetened with power-ups that can stop time, grant you a heart armor for a free hit, and more. As you navigate through the sugary chaos, your charm and wits will be tested in playful, spicy encounters with twelve different damsels, each with their own unique personality and backstory.

when i try to start the game the game area is just black browser is firefox
Uhm thats very odd there should be a loading screen right away... I am still working on the game but it will take a while till i can get back to it...
Thanks for letting me know i can indeed confirm this error in firefox. I will look into this. Strangly enough in chrome its working...
Hi, i checked it through and it seems that firefox changed something with the input handling. However, now its working for me :) It would be great if you could try again and let me know! Thanks again for reporting.
Will there be more girls after the level? Currently i only get the first girl after every level.
Thats a bug currently. If you die in a level and then complete it the girl from the first level will appear. It will befixed soon.
Using the arrow keys causes the page to move up or down. Browser is microsoft edge.

I didn't see anything wrong with anything except maybe the bomb. The bomb can hurt/kill me but not the enemy.
2 problems:
1) game always tries to go fullscreen
2) controls bubbled to top window opening find bar. result is following key sequence: A - Esc - W - Esc...

1) You can disable fullscreen in the options. I changed this in the next version defaulting to "No Fullscreen" :)
2) can you elaborate on this? I am sorry, but i dont understand. For me the controlls work fine, maybe i am missing something?

In FF settings enable "Search for text when you start typing" option and try to use WASD keys to move character.

Probably you just need for keyboard events call preventDefault ().
